It is a common practice with the publishers that they ask the authors to pay hefty amounts to get their papers published. How does it make any sense? The authors put in their hard work, the intellectual input and precious time to pursue their research ideas and once these come to fruition the work is sent for publication. I think the publishers shouldn’t charge anything from the authors for publishing their papers.
